Anna Richardson

Training Coordinator

Anna started work with BOP in 2019 as a Youth Arts Consultant, delivering access audits and consultancy, before starting to deliver Disability Equality Training in 2022.  She was former Box Office Manager of the Traverse Theatre, and has worked in the box office at Summerhall and Warwick Arts Centre. Anna’s previous work has included working within box office, marketing, press, stage management, script consultancy, producing, and front of house. She has previously delivered access consultancy and disability equality training to clients including the National Theatre of Scotland, Edinburgh International Book Festival, Edinburgh International Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, Disability Arts Showcase Network for the Americas and others.

Anna is also Learning Disability, Autism and Neurodiversity Policy Officer for the Scottish Government where she is working on the proposed Learning Disability, Autism and Neurodiversity Bill. In this, and all her work, Anna aims to use her lived experience of being disabled to promote disability justice and equality.
