Nicola Chegwin

Performer - Don't. Make.Tea.

Nicola Chegwin is a disabled actor and screenwriter, based in the North West of England. She has appeared in film, television and theatre; and most recently played Grace Mulberry in series two of the critically acclaimed Queens of Mystery, and Jessica in the BBC’s award-winning Hen Night. She can next be seen as Hazel Jackson in a Christmas episode of Doctors. In theatre, she will be playing the part of Helen in Cured when it debuts in 2023 at Liverpool Royal Court Theatre, before a nationwide tour. Nicola holds an MA in Screenwriting for Film at University Salford, graduating with merit, and is passionate about challenging societal perceptions of disability. Her disabled led comedy drama is currently in development talks with a well-known broadcaster.
