Kerry Lane

Office and Communications Officer

Kerry is a writer, educator and multidisciplinary theatre-maker originally from Aotearoa New Zealand. Before moving to Scotland in early 2022, they ran the queer performance company Sacrilege and the experimental theatre company Little Scorpion. Both companies won multiple awards for innovation, direction, design and performance between 2015 and 2020.

Kerry joined Birds of Paradise as the Office and Communications Officer in 2023. Alongside this role, they maintain an independent theatre practice which includes writing, directing, dramaturgy and design.
